29 May 2025

Premier Interior Services recently held a Health and Safety Day aimed at reinforcing best practice and strengthening safety awareness across the business. The event focused on education, shared responsibility, and long-term safety culture.

Premier Interior Services recently held a successful Health & Safety Day, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to promoting a strong and proactive safety culture across all operations.

The day opened with an address from Director Ryan, who spoke about the importance of health and safety in everyday working practices and its role in protecting people, projects, and the long-term success of the business.

The team was also joined by Phillip Alexandrakis, Senior Project Manager at Reds10, who delivered a compelling presentation on the real cost of neglecting health and safety. His talk highlighted not only the personal risks involved, but also the wider impact on businesses, clients, and the future growth of the construction industry.

A further powerful moment came from James, who shared his personal experience of an on-site injury that could have been prevented with the correct health and safety measures in place. His honest account served as a strong reminder that safety is not simply a compliance requirement, but a shared responsibility across every role on site.

The session concluded with an insightful contribution from Caimen Kinder, Supply Chain Manager at Reds10, who spoke about the importance of swift and confident CPR in emergency situations. Drawing on his first-hand experience from volunteering in the emergency services, Caimen shared a real-life example of achieving Return of Spontaneous Circulation (ROSC), where effective CPR directly contributed to saving a life. His story encouraged the Premier team to further develop their CPR knowledge and awareness.

The day concluded on a lighter note with a team activity hosted by Director Michael Ahluwalia, providing an opportunity for colleagues to come together following a day of learning and reflection.

Premier Interior Services would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the Health & Safety Day both impactful and engaging, and remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety across all projects.
